First Software update for OnePlus 12 rolls out in India: Brings new features and improvements
OnePlus has released a software update for the OnePlus 12 users in India with new features and system improvements.
OnePlus has released a software update for the OnePlus 12, which was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 64,999. The smartphone made its debut alongside the OnePlus 12R. This is the first software update the phone has received after its launch in the country. The OnePlus 12 boots Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. The other highlights of the device include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and carries a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC charging.
OnePlus 12 arrived in India after making its debut in China in December 2023. Now, the update for the Indian variant of the OnePlus 12 has brought new features and some system improvements.
The OnePlus 12 update with a size of 6.48GB is available with the firmware version CPH2573_14.0.0.404(EX01). The highlight of the software update is the OnePlus Master Mode feature that includes Hasselblad colour tuning which will help to set accurate skin tones and natural-looking colours in photographs. With the OnePlus Master Mode, users can also click in RAW format and have room for more manual adjustments of ISO, shutter speed, white balance, focus, and more.
It is worth mentioning that the new mode will let the OnePlus 12 users click more stunning pictures with the Hasselblad-tuned camera system housing a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel sensor at the front of the display.
A new ProXDR feature has also been added for Google Photos on the OnePlus 12 with the new software update.
For system improvement, the update will also bring improved system stability and fingerprint unlock success rate. The update will also enhance WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth stability and compatibility.
The software update for the OnePlus 12 can be downloaded from the section of About Device within the Settings option of the device. Usually, the device shows if there is a new update available of not users can manually check it on the Settings.
