The update is available globally and it introduces significant improvements across the OS. The company has advised the Nothing Phone (3a) series users to upgrade to the latest version of OS in order to get improved experience on their devices.

The big update is that the Essential Key now works within the Nothing Camera app. The real world content can be captured directly with a short press and a note can be added. On the other hand, the long press can be used for voice input.

How to get the update

If you have a Phone (3a) or Phone (3a) Pro and have not received Nothing OS 3.1 on your device you should not get tensed. It is so because the update is released globally and it might take some time to land on your devices.

Otherwise, you can check manually on your Phone (3a) or Phone (3a) Pro devices for the update by navigating through Settings > System > System Updates menu.
