Asus has launched two new ROG Swift OLED gaming monitors at Gamescom 2023. The new monitors are claimed to be the world’s first 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED display. Check the price, features and specifications of the new OLED gaming monitors here.

Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Specification

The new ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM gaming monitor offers 4K resolution with a super smooth 240Hz refresh rate. This is said to be world’s first 32-inch OLED display gaming monitor with 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor display also has up to 1000 nits of peak brightness.

It has a Quantum Dot OLED panel and a graphene film is present behind the monitor’s panel. The heating of the monitor is managed by a custom passive heatsink to keep the internals cool. Without the presence of the fans, the company has made the monitor thin. It also has HDMI 2.1 & DisplayPort 1.4 ports for connection.

According to Asus, the new ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM has a 0.03ms response time, with strong motion blur performance. It will also be compatible with Nvidia G-Sync & AMD Freesync.

Asus ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM Specification

The other newly launched Asus gaming monitor is the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM. It comes equipped with a curved OLED display with an aspect ratio of 21:9, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and an 800R curve, which makes the immersion better and also helps with viewability. The gaming monitor display has a resolution of 3440 x 1440, and supports up to 240Hz refresh rate. However, it does not feature the Quantum Dot technology like the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM. Instead, it is offered with the WOLED (White OLED) technology. This kind of panel can emit additional white light to increase the peak brightness numbers

Apart from this, the monitor has DisplayPort 1.2 support along with HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C PD Charging, and supports the ROG Ally handheld console as well.

Like the ASUS ROG OLED PG32UCDM, this brand-new gaming monitor has a response time of 0.03ms, and a custom heatsink for cooling.

Price and Availability

Asus has not revealed the price details of the new ROG Swift PG32UCDM and the PG34WCDM yet. However, it is expected that the ROG Swift PG32UCDM will be in the expensive category when it launches in the market (Around $1000 range). Both monitors will be available in early 2024.
