Apple plans to launch budget-friendly Macbook at around Rs. 50,000 in India, know details about it
Apple is planning to launch a new low cost Macbook starting at around Rs. 50,000. It will be using the A18 Pro Chip from the iPhone 16 Pro.
Apple is planning to launch a new low cost Macbook which will its most affordable laptop so far. This new model will run on the A18 Pro Chip from the iPhone 16 Pro instead of the usual M-series chips.
According to the reports, the new MacBook is expected to be priced between Rs.52, 370 and Rs. 61, 113 in India. This price is almost half as much as the current M4 MacBook Air which start at Rs. 99,990.
The device will come with a 12.9 inch display which is slightly smaller than the 13.6 inch MacBook Air. It may also be launched in bright colours like Blue, Pink, Silver and Yellow.
The A18 Pro Chip has reportedly performed 43% better than the M1 in single core. It is almost equal in multicore performance.
The new MacBook is expected to offer smooth performance along with long battery life which is similar to other Macbooks.
Reports suggest that production is likely to begin in September 2025 with the launch expected by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
