Two minor boys’ bodies found inside canal in Odisha’s Angul district
In a heart-wrenching incident, two minor boys’ bodies were found inside a canal at Baliamba village under Handapa police station limits of Odisha’s Angul district today.
Angul: In a heart-wrenching incident, two minor boys’ bodies were found inside a canal at Baliamba village under Handapa police station limits of Odisha’s Angul district today.
The deceased children were identified as Badal Behera, son of Kalia Behera and Jayant Pradhan, son of Surendra Pradhan.
According to sources, Badal and Jayant had gone to a rivulet to play in the afternoon. However their members went in search of them as they did not return home till evening.
While searching, one of the villagers spotted the feet of the boys protruding out of the sand on the river bank and informed others. Soon, they dug up the place with an aim to rescue the duo, but sadly both of them had already died.
Cops from the Handapa police station went to the spot after getting information and started a probe. Apart from sending the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem, police registered a case of unnatural death.
