Bhubaneswar: In a major development in the mysterious death case of Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, the accused DFO Sangram Keshari Behera will be interrogated, informs Gajapati SP Tapan Pattnaik.
As the DFO name has been mentioned in the complaint filed by Soumyaranjan’s father, therefore he will also be a part of the investigation, added Gajapti SP.
The cyber expert has been roped in by the Crime Branch team to check mobile phone, calls and other details, said SP.
The investigation is going in the right direction, but awaiting for the autopsy results, says Gajapati SP.
Saumya Ranjan was rescued in a half-charred state at his government quarters in Paralakhemundi on July 12. He succumbed to burn injuries while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack on July 13.
