Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a residential school of Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district of Odisha today.
Patnaik inaugurated the institution in the presence of MPs Basant Panda and Sujit Kumar, MLA Pradeep Dishari and KIIT & KISS founder, Kandhamal MP Dr. Achyut Samanta.
Patnaik appreciated the efforts of Samanta and the Kiss Foundation promoting education among the tribal children.
Around 1200 students will get free education at the KISS Residential School in Kalahandi.
The founder of KIIT & KISS delivered the welcome address and the Kalahandi District Collector gave the vote of thanks.
