Odia Girl Mona Minakshi Manjari Selected To Pursue Research At Johannes Gutenberg University

Deogarh: Odia girl  from Deogarh Mona Minakshi Manjari Bhukta  has been selected as a young research associate  at Johannes Guttenberg Univeristy,Mainz, Germany in the field of Nanomagnetism & Sprintronics.

Mona will do research in high spatial resolution magnetic imaging of spin textures so that we can reduce the size of storage devices such as pen drive, hard disk, RAM, etc but with ultra-low power consumption.

Mona was born in the year 1997 and completed her schooling at Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir in Deogarh in the year 2012. Later she completed her higher education (+2) at Saraswati Vidya Mandir,Berhampur .

She qualified in one of the most prestigious exams in the field of research NEST in 2015 and did 5 year course at  the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in the field of Physics. She    did her internship at HRI,Prayagraj. She aslo got a chance to do a fully funded research internship at the University of Konstanz, Germany in 2019.

Mona  went on to give an invited talk about her previous research experience at JGU Mainz along with other students from all over the world in January 2020. She got selected as a research scholar there which was scheduled to join on May 2020. However, due to COVID-19 outbreak, it got delayed by 4 months.
