Nomination paper filing for Attabira NAC starts

Bargarh: The election process for Atabira notified area council (NAC) under Bargarh district has started from today, said reliable reports.

The elections in Hindol and Attabira NACs shall be held on April 3, 2023 informed the State Election Commission in a press meet held on February 28, 2023.

Nomination paper submission has been started from today. Candidates can submit nomination papers till 15 March, 2023. The fight for the seats seems to have started among the major political parties.

The verification process will be held on March 17. The tenure of these two NACs will end on April 12, 2023. The notified area councils were formed in 2011went to elections for the first time in 2013. There are 13,520 voters in Atabira NAC under 12 wards.
