Kendrapara: Some unidentified miscreants have looted huge amount of cash at gunpoint from a State Bank of India (SBI) customer service centre situated in Chandol market area under Sadar police limits in Kendrapara late on Monday night.
Reportedly, three miscreants arrived when two female employees were at the service centre and asked them information related to Aadhar card.
Later the miscreants looted cash worth more than Rs 1 lakh, six new mobile phones, four pen drives at gunpoint as no other customers or employees were present at the spot. Thereafter, the miscreants managed to escape from the spot.
The frightened employees immediately informed to the local police and and lodged a complaint. On getting the information, the Sadar police team arrived at the spot and initiated an investigation based on CCTV footage of the service centre.
The cops have begun conducting raids at various nearby places to apprehend the criminals.
