Kandhamal: A doctor has been caught red handed by vigilance sleuths while accepting bribe in the Community Health Center (CHC) at Phiringia in Kandhamal district of Odisha.
The doctor identified as Nisith Nisank Malu is employed as the Block Public Health Officer of Phiringia CHC in Kandhamal.
He has been caught red-handed by officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division while demanding and accepting illegal gratification (bribe) of Rs. 7,000 (Rs. Seven Thousand).
The doctor was caught while accepting a bribe from the complainant, Benupani Digal, MPHS (male) working in the same CHC, for passing his RCM and TA bills.
The bribe money of Rs. 7000 has been recovered from the right side pant pocket Malu. The residential quarter of the accused at Phiringia is being searched.
Ms Kalinga
