Balasore: The Special Task Force (STF) has seized brown sugar in Jaleswar town of Balasore district in Odisha and arrested one drug peddler in this connection on Tuesday night.
The accused has been identified as Sheikh Munaf. He has been arrested during a sudden raid at his house.
According to reports, a 12 member special team of STF conducted a raid in Jhadeswarpur under Jaleswar police limits.
More than one kilo of brown sugar was seized from him in the raid.
The estimated worth of the seized brown sugar is more than one lakh rupees.
The STF is further investigating into the matter.
