Bhubaneswar: A total of 23 new COVID positive cases were detected under the jurisdiction of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the last 24 hours.
The data shared by the civic body on its Twitter handle, revealed that one each case was reported from Aiginia, Gautam Nagar, Nayapali, Unit-9, Baramunda, Jadupur, Niladri Vihar, Rasugarh, Dumduma and Khandagiri.
Likewise, two each new positive cases were reported from Jaydev Vihar, Patia, Jagamara, Pahala and Unit-6 while three COVID cases were detected from Jharapada.
With the report of 23 new cases, the active cases rose to 216 while the total cases climbed to 1,56,870.
