81 new covid positive cases detected in Bhubaneswar while Cuttack reports a single case

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 81 new covid positive cases as on December 11. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported a single positive case today.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 81 positive cases detected today, 21 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 60. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 21.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 22,280 while the total recovered cases are 1, 20,044. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1089.  Active cases in the city are 1126.

As reported on Saturday by CMC, a single covid positive case was found from home quarantine. No institutional quarantine or local contact case were reported today.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,278 while the recovered cases are 44,692. The active cases today are 495.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 9 recovered cases while in Bhubaneswar 98 recovered cases were registered.

Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department of Odisha government on Saturday informed that 173 new COVID positive cases including 21 from 0-18 age group reported in the State in the last 24 hours.

The I&PR Department informed that 173 cases include 102 quarantine cases and 71 local contacts.
