Today, on December 12, Yuvraj marks his 42nd birthday.

Yuvraj Singh, despite recovering from a stiff back, showcased pure power and timing against England. With six sixes and 16 fours, he single handedly led India to a massive total of 387, securing a comfortable victory.

In a high pressure match against Australia during the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj played a crucial role. Whilst battling cancer, he partnered with MS Dhoni, helping India post a competitive total. He also took two wickets in the match.

Displaying his big-match temperament, Yuvraj Singh anchored the Indian batting against West Indies, guiding them to a challenging total of 268 runs. His patient innings and two wickets with the ball played a vital role.

Yuvraj’s masterclass in batting included 21 boundaries and three sixes. Anchoring the Indian innings, he propelled the team to a commanding 381/6 against England in Cuttack. In the same match, he was also crowned as the Player of the Match.

In a master class of power-hitting, Yuvraj chased down a challenging target of 287 runs against Pakistan. Smashing 14 fours, he led the Indian cricket team to a comfortable victory by eight wickets, earing both the Player of the Match and also the Player of the Series awards with 344 runs.
