Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has shared glimpse of his training session at gym as he is nearing his comeback in the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024. The cricketer is expected to make his long-awaited return on the cricket field through IPL 2024 where he will lead Delhi Capitals.

Rishabh Pant was out of the field for over a year following his accident in December 2022. The cricketer met with a huge car mishap in December 2022 and suffered horrific injuries that needed surgeries.

Following his accident, he missed a host of major tournaments including IPL, final of World Test Championship, 2023 ODI World Cup among others. Fortunately, he is almost recovered now and is set to make his comeback in the upcoming season of IPL.

Recently, Rishabh Pant took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a clip of him working out at a gym. He captioned the video with the text that read, “Pushing the limits.”

Earlier, Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal had revealed that Pant will be fully fit for the upcoming IPL season and will be the captain of the team. He also revealed that Pant will play purely as a batter in the first seven matches of the league.

Speaking about Rishabh Pant’s comeback in IPL 2024, Jindal told ESPNcricinfo, “Rishabh is batting. He’s running. He has started his wicketkeeping. He is likely to be fully fit for the IPL. I am expecting Rishabh to play IPL and he will lead from match one. First seven games we are going to play him only as a batter and depending on how his body reacts, we will take a call for the rest of the IPL.”
