A clip of Mahendra Singh Dhoni smoking hookah is going viral on social media platforms. The video shows the former Team India captain at a social event or a party in a suit and smoking hookah. The short video was shared on the X app (formerly known as Twitter). The video seems to have been shot at a private party not too long ago.

The video has gathered mixed reactions from Dhoni fans. While some called the video smoking hot some called it wrong. Some people have also said that the cricketer is creating a wrong example for youths. The fans were surprised with the video cause the player is known for maintaining his fitness.

Amid all this, an old statement by cricket player George Bailey about Dhoni is also gaining a lot of attention. The former Australian captain had commented that Dhoni likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. He has also said that he would quite often set that up in his room.

“He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he quite often would set that up in his room, and it was very much open door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there. For India or lot of other cricket teams, it can be hierarchical, but he certainly broke that down,” revealed Bailey.

MS Dhoni welcomed the new year with his wife and daughter in Dubai with other cricket mates and Bollywood stars.

While the video did go viral, it is not ascertained if the person smoking hookah in the video is himself or not as the video is of poor quality.
