IPL Auction 2024: Harshal Patel becomes most expensive Indian purchase

Harshal Patel has become the most expensive Indian purchase in the auction of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024.

The former player of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Harshal Patel has become the most expensive Indian purchase in the auction of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024. Harshal has been sold to Punjab Kings at Rs 11.75 crores.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc has become the most expensive purchase of the IPL history. He has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders at Rs 24.75 lakh in the ongoing IPL 2024 auction at Dubai. The second in the list is Pat Cummins. The Australia’s World Cup-winning captain is sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rs 20.50 crores.

Daryl Mitchell from New Zealand has been sold to Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14 crore. India’s Harshal Patel stand fourth in the list as has been sold out to Punjab Kings at Rs 11.75 crores.

At the same time, Azmatullah Omarzai from Afghanistan has been sold to Gujarat Titans at Rs 50 lakh. Mumbai Indians has so far bought Gerald Coetzee for Rs 5 crores. Rajasthan Royals has purchased Rovman Powell for Rs 7.4 crores.

However, players including Rohan Kunnummal, Saurav Chauhan, Priyansh Arya, Manan Vohra, Arshad Khan, Sarfraz Khan, Raj Bawa, Vivrant Sharma, Ajit Sheth, Hrithik Shokeen, Phil Salt, Josh Inglis, Kushal Mendis, Lockie Forguson, Josh Hazlewood, Waqar Salamkheil, Adil Rashid, Akeal Hossain, Isha Sodhi, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Mujeeb ur Rahman remain unsold so far.
