India U-19 World Cup-Winning Captain Unmukt Chand ties the knot; see pics

Former India cricketer and U-19 World Cup-winning captain Unmukt Chand got married fitness trainer Simran Khosla on Sunday.

The 28-year-old took to his Twitter to share pictures of his wedding, last night. While sharing the photographs he wrote, “Today, we decided on forever! 21.11.21”

On August 2021, Unmukt announced his retirement from Indian cricket at the age of 28, saying he is open to “better opportunities around the world.”

Unmukt led the U-19 national team in the 2012 World Cup and came into the limelight after scoring an unbeaten knock of 111 in the final of the tournament. He then made it to the 30-member squad for the 2013 Champions Trophy and later, into the 30-member squad for the 2014 T20 World Cup. Unfortunately, he couldn’t earn a place in the Indian cricket team at the higher leve and play for the country at the international level.
