Indian coast guard recruitment 2024: The ICG (Indian Coast Guard) is inviting applications to fill up several vacant posts under the position of Navik (General Duty). Under this recruitment drive, the organisation aims at filling up a total of 260 vacancies through the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT).

The vacant posts for Navik (General Duty) have been divided zone-wise. They are as follows:

  • North Zone: 79 vacant posts
  • West Zone: 66 vacant posts
  • North East Zone: 68 vacant posts
  • East Zone: 33 vacant posts
  • North West: 12 vacant posts
  • Andaman and Nicobar: 03 vacant posts

Total: 260 vacant posts

Indian coast guard recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates applying for the vacancies should have qualified 10+2 education with Maths and Physics from COBSE (Council of Boards for School Education).
  • It is important to note that incomplete or wrongly filled information may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age limit for applying: 18 years of age
  • Maximum age limit for applying: 22 years of age

Application Fee

Candidates applying for the vacancies will have to pay a minimum application fee while applying. Check category wise fee here:

  • Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS: Rs 300
  • Candidates belonging to ST/ SC: NA
  • PH Candidates: NA
