Cat defends itself from attacking Cobra, watch viral video

A cat was seen defending itself from an attacking cobra in a recent video. The video has gone viral after being uploaded to X platform (formerly Twitter). And in the comment box netizens are all praise for the cat.

As we can see in the video, a cat is resting at its place, of course cautious and alert. Meanwhile a cobra enters to the scene and proceeds towards it. As the reptile reaches near the cat, it displays some smart move which was enough to frighten and discourage the cobra. Yet, the poisonous predator takes another chance to haunt its prey, but the second attempt also was perfectly defended. Now, getting no other way the snake accepts its defeat and gets away.

Posted by the user going by the name ‘Why you should have a cat’ to X platform on January 9, 2024, the interesting fight video has so far earned a huge 1.2 million views. Besides, it has also grabbed a number of comments where most of the users hailed the cat for its smart moves to defend itself.

“The average cat’s reaction time is approximately 20-70 milliseconds, which is faster than the average snake’s reaction time, 44-70 milliseconds,” explained a user in the comment box.
