In a shocking incident, a man brutally killed his wife using an axe after she did not give him food when he returned home late.
Balangir: In a horrific incident, a man brutally axed his wife to death. The incident happened in Artala village under Deogaon police limits in Balangir district late on Tuesday night.
The deceased woman has been identified as Amulya Biswal. Her husband has been identified as Goutam Biswal. The police detained the accused husband and are enquiring the matter.
According to information, Goutam returned late night and asked her for food. Amulya did not give her food, following which the man got angry and killed her with an axe.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. Police seized the axe and arrested the man.
