These districts of Odisha to remain under the spell of scorching heat for next 3 days, Yellow warning issued

Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar issued Yellow Warning for heat wave conditions for several districts of Odisha.

The weatherman issued Yellow Warning for heat wave conditions over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir and Bargarh from 8.30 AM of 30.03.2022 up to 8.30 AM of 31.03.2022).

The following impact and action suggested

• Heat is tolerable for the general public but slight health concern for vulnerable people (viz: infants, elderly and sick people).
• It is advised to take precautionary measures for hot weather while going outside during midday time (around 12 PM to 3 PM in these areas).

Likewise, the IMD issued Yellow Warning for heat wave conditions which is likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir, Angul, Kalahandi and Sambalpur between 8.30 AM of 31.03.2022 up to 8.30 AM of 01.04.2022.

The following impact and action suggested for the people of these districts:

• It is advised to take precautionary measures for hot weather while going outside during midday time (around 12 PM to 3 PM in these areas).

Yellow Warning for the same heat wave condition has been issued for the districts of Bargarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Angul and Sambalpur. The warning has been issued for the time period between 8.30 AM of 01.04.2022 up to 8.30 AM of 02.04.2022.
