Shocking! Woman, lover conspire and kill husband by burning him alive in Odisha
Purnachandra and Nischala’s wife Suhasini developed an illicit relationship. Even they met each other in the absence of her husband
Cuttack: In a shocking incident a woman conspired with her paramour and killed her husband allegedly by burning him alive. Police recently busted the case and found it to be a clear case of murder. Police arrested the woman and her lover. The incident took place in Choudwar area in Cuttack district of Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Nischala Mohapatra. He was originally from Govindpur area of Niali. However, he was a bus conductor in Choudwar for the last many years. The accused persons are Suhasini Mohapatra and her paramour Purnachandra Moharana.
As per reports, on last December 1st, the half-charred body of the deceased had been recovered from Biratgadi area. Following the incident he had been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack in a critical condition but succumbed to the burn injury while under treatment.
Later, Choudwar Police registered a case in this matter and initiated investigation. During the course of investigation Police found that it was a clear case of murder. Police found that the woman and her paramour conspired and killed the husband.
As per Police, Nischala, the deceased and Purnachandra from Choudhwar, the accused were friends. Purnachandra used to visit the house of Nischala. Meanwhile, Purnachandra and Nischala’s wife Suhasini developed a love relationship. Even, the two were meeting in the absence of the woman’s husband.
However, recently Suhasini and Purnachandra conspired to kill the husband. Accordingly, Purnachandra invited Nischala to Biratgadi area for a feast. Both of them drank ample amount of alcohol and then Purnachandra allegedly poured petrol on Nischala and set him on fire. Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra informed about the case in a press meet today.
