Puri Srimandir terror threat case: One detained, probe continues
The Special Investigating team identified a man who had written the Puri Srimandir terrorist threat message on the temple walls
Puri: The special team of investigators have identified the miscreant who had written the threat message on the walls of the Heritage corridor. The Singhadwara police is enquiring the matter.
According to information, the man was found to be mentally unstable and is 65-years-old. The man has himself accepted of writing it on the walls of the Parikrama Prakalpa.
Police is enquiring him as to why he wrote about it. Reportedly, the man was of unsound mind and due to family issues, he had in the past also done such activities.
The identified man had family issues and was mentally unstable. The police nabbed him and then took him for scene recreation in the Budhi Maa Thakurani temple in the Heritage corridor.
After the scene recreation police have cleared the threat message written in Puri srimandir.
The terrorist threat message on Puri Srimandir read, “Terrorists will demolish the Srimandir. Call me, or else there will be destruction.” There are several phone numbers mentioned on the walls. “PM Modi, Dilli” such words were also mentioned on the walls.
Who and why has someone written this? Is it really a terrorist threatening on Puri Srimandir or someone has written it just for fun ? Why has someone written this with the name of terrorists? What is the motive behind this? These questions need to be answered.
CCTVs have been installed at several places. Security guards have also been deployed. Investigation is underway at a war footing.
