Rayagada: Mao posters and banners have surfaced in Odisha’s Rayagada district ahead of the red rebels’ Martyrs’ Week, beginning from July 28 to August 3.
The posters and banners of the outlawed group were found in different areas of Parsali village under Kalyansingpur police station limits of the district.
The Maoists of Baghuna division have pasted the posters and banners with the aim to make their presence in the area. Through the posters and banners, they have appealed the youth to join their group.
Meanwhile, Kalyansingpur police have launched a combing operation in the area after seizing the Mao posters and banners from the spot.
