In a horrific incident, two minors were gutted in the fire as a hut caught fire in Talabora village in Kalahandi district.
Kalahandi: In a horrific incident, two minors were gutted in the fire as a hut caught fire in Talabora village under Lanjhigarh block in Kalahandi district.
The minors’ parents were identified as Bada Bisi Majhi and Susari Majhi. Her two children, a four-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy were in the hut.
The children’s mother had made a temporary husk hut for the children and gone to the nearby jungle to collect wood. She returned after a while and to her shock, the husk hut was on fire.
The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. The grief-stricken parents did the final rites of their children in the village crematorium. This incident has sent shock waves in the village.
