Bhasani in Cuttack tomorrow, ‘CTC 60’ special police team to take strict action against sound pollution
More than 500 CCTV cameras have been fixed on Bhasani route to keep vigil
Cuttack: Bhasani, the immersion procession of Durga Maa idol in Cuttack will be organised tomorrow, the 3rd October. Police have made adequate arrangement and tightened security to avoid any untoward situation during the procession. Cuttack DCP Rishikesh Khilari informed in details about the arrangements for Bhasani.
As per information, drones will keep an eye on Bhasani, the immersion procession of Durga Puja Maa idol in Cuttack tomorrow. This is the first time this year that the Commissionerate Police has made such an arrangement. A total of more than 500 CCTV cameras will keep an eye on Bhasani route. The police will keep an eye on the visuals available from the CCTVs through multiple control rooms.
For the first time, a special police team named “CTC 60” has been formed that will take strict action against sound pollution or processions that produce more than 60 decibels sound.
In case of finding of any sound pollution, police will alert for once. If they do not comply, the Commissionerate Police will seize all the sound equipment and register a case.
A total of 125 platoons of police force will be deployed in the city.
The ODRAF team and Fire Department officials have been asked to remain alert near Devigada.
The Puja committees have been requested to take out their Bhasani Sobha Yatra at 8 am tomorrow. Keeping in mind the adverse weather, the Commissionerate Police has appealed to everyone to cooperate.
