2 critical, 1 injured after car falls off bridge in Odisha’s Sundargarh
2 people were left critically injured while 1 was reported injured after a car fell off a bridge in Bonai of Odisha's Sundargarh district.
Bonai: Two people were left critically injured while one was reported injured after a car fell off a bridge in Bonai of Odisha’s Sundargarh district, under the limits of Mahulpada police station. The tragic incident took place at around 1 AM on Sunday, said reliable reports in this regard.
Reports from reliable sources state that the car fell down about 20 feet below the bridge. Reportedly, the car was on its way to Rourkela from Keonjhar when it lost control and fell off the Phulajhara Nagariya bridge in Bonai.
The critically injured people have been identified as Ajit Mohanta, and the driver Omkar Behera. Another passenger in the car, Jadumani Mahakud, has been reported injured.
The critically injured were immediately taken to a clinic in Bonai. After preliminary tests, they were referred to Rourkela. Further details into the matter awaited.
