Mumbai: The police are on high alert after the police received an bomb threat call in several places in the city amid New-Year celebrations.
“Mumbai Police Control received a threat call on Saturday evening, around 6 pm. The caller claimed that there would be serial blasts in Mumbai before hanging up,” an official said.
However, nothing suspicious was found.
The police is in search of caller. Considering the New Year celebrations, the security has been beefed up across the city.
