Man conceals gold worth Rs 30 lakh inside his wig, nabbed at Delhi Airport: Watch

Delhi: A man from Abu Dhabi was nabbed by the officers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Thursday for smuggling huge amount of gold.

As per a tweet by ANI the passenger from Abu Dhabi had tactfully hidden gold worth more than Rs 30 lakhs inside the wig he was wearing and in his rectum. A gold smuggling case was initiated against him after approximately 630.45 grams of gold was found from his wig at the IGI Airport in Delhi. Further investigation of the case is underway.

The ANI tweet reads, “Delhi: A gold smuggling case booked on a passenger from Abu Dhabi at IGI Airport T3; approx 630.45g of gold worth Rs 30.55 lakhs was concealed inside his wig & rectum. Accused arrested; further probe underway: Customs Commissioner Office (Source: Delhi Customs).”
