The much awaited Bihar Elections shall take place in two phases that is on November 6 and November 11, 2025
Patna: Bihar Election to take place in two phases on November 6 and November 11, 2025. Further it is worth mentioning here that counting is scheduled to take place on November 14.
On 2025 Bihar elections, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said, “There are a total of 243 assembly seats in Bihar. The total number of electors is 7.43 crore, including around 14 lakh first-time voters.”
On 2025 Bihar elections, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar further added, “CAPF will be deployed in advance as a confidence-building measure..All officers are to act in an absolutely impartial way. If there is any fake news or misinformation on any medium or platform, it will be countered. Strict vigil will be maintained at all checkpoints to prevent the transaction of drugs, liquor and cash.”
In view of the upcoming Bihar elections, security forces shall be deployed in the state. It is worth mentioning here that most of the major Central security forces shall be deployed.
Reports say that more than 500 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), comprising over 5,000 personnel, will be deployed for the Bihar elections.
Of these, 121 companies are from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and around 400 from the Border Security Force (BSF), along with contingents from other CAPFs.
