A major fire broke out on the top floor of the commercial building in Kormangala area of Bengaluru on Wednesday afternoon

Bengaluru: A major fire broke out on the top floor of the commercial building in Kormangala area of Bengaluru on Wednesday afternoon.

The blaze broke out at a pub and restaurant which were at the top floor of the building.

The fire reportedly spread out widely after cylinder exploded. The sound of the blast was so vast that people nearby alerted the police and informed the fire personnel.

On being informed about the incident, the fire tenders pressed into service and tried to douse the flames.

According to police, a man who was trapped in the top floor of the building jumped to escape the flames. He has sustained serious injuries and being treated in the hospital.

The exact reason of fire is yet to ascertained.
