Uttar Pradesh: In a recent incident, a 75-year-old man was made to wear a garland of shoes and lick his own spit. The incident unfolded in Siddharthnagar of Uttar Pradesh.
The man has been identified as Mohabbat Ali. The distressing incident took place on Thursday and came to light through a video circulating on social media. The video also showed Ali’s face blackened with ink.
The reason behind this disgraceful act was reportedly after a complaint was filed against Ali for touching someone’s daughter inappropriately. Following the complaint, four people have been arrested by the police. The arrested people have been identified as Zafar, Aman Pandey, Akhilesh Sahni, and Ghanshyam Tiwari.
The Golharua Police Station SHO, Ajaynath Kannaujia, stated that a case has been registered against the accused under various charges. These charges include wrongful restraint, causing hurt, breaking into house, intentional insult, and even criminal intimidation.
