4 killed, multiple injured in Road accident in Jalaun of Uttar Pradesh

In a tragic case of road accident, 4 people lost their lives while multiple people were left injured in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh.

Jalaun: In a tragic case of road accident, four people lost their lives while multiple people were left injured in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place during the late night hours on Sunday after a truck rammed into a pickup vehicle. The deceased include a two year old infant as well, confirmed reliable reports.

As per reports from reliable sources, a teacher was returning to Jalaun in a pickup van with his family members. A speeding truck coming from behind rammed into the van, causing the fateful accident. Reportedly, the pickup van was returning to Jalaun after the passengers visited Peetambra Mata temple in Datia.

The tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh took place on a service road connecting National Highway 27 and Bundelkhand express, near the Katehari toll plaza. Upon receiving information about the incident, officials immediately rushed to the spot. The injured people were shifted to a nearby medical for urgent medical assistance.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination. The identities of the deceased have been ascertained. They were Priyanka, Nancy, and Munna Devi. Along with them, there was also another two year old infant.

The truck driver fled away from the scene after the accident. A probe has been initiated into the matter, Further details awaited.
