‘The Zoya Factor’ Motion Poster: Sonam Kapoor Is ‘India Ka Lucky Charm’
Bhubaneswar: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who was last seen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, took to social media on Thursday to share the motion-poster of her next film ‘The Zoya Factor’.
She captioned her post, “Who needs Nimbu Mirchi, when you have Zoya Solanki! India’s lucky charm is here to turn tables around for you.”
In the motion-poster, Sonam is seen holding a cricket bat in one hand and a helmet in the other. She is dressed in a saree, and has a garland around her neck.
Before unveiling the motion poster, Sonam had shared two video clips on Instagram announcing that India’s Lucky Charm will be revealed soon.

The time is set for the big reveal of India’s lucky charm! I’m feeling lucky, are you?
Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name, The Zoya Factor revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup. Dulquer Salman is playing the captain of the Indian Cricket team in the movie.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film also stars Dulquer Salmaan. The film has been delayed quite a few times. It was initially meant to release on April 5, 2019, and then it got pushed to June, and now is releasing on September 20.
‘The Zoya Factor’ also stars Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher in key roles. It also marks the first-ever collaboration of Sonam with her uncle Sanjay Kapoor, who is playing her father in the film.
