Bhubaneswar: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who was last seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, will be starring opposite southern hottie Dulquer Salmaan in Abhishek Sharma’s ‘The Zoya Factor’.
Sharing a sizzling picture from her upcoming film on Instagram, Sonam sent birthday wishes to co-star Dulquer on his 33rd birthday.
She captioned the picture saying, “Many many happy returns of the day @dqsalmaan! They say the number 28 represents leadership, self-determination and independence! Guess lady luck has always been generous to you! Hope you have a great year ahead!”
Floored by the sweet gesture, Dulquer thanked Sonam for the birthday wishes and left a comment on her post. He wrote, “#LuckyMe for all the luck coming my way But someone once said, ‘Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity!’ Can’t wait to see what this year has in store for the both of us! #ThankYouZoyaSolanki”
Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name, The Zoya Factor revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup. Dulquer Salman is playing the captain of the Indian Cricket team in the movie.
Directed by Abhisekh Kapoor of ‘Tere Bin Laden’ fame, ‘The Zoya Factor’ also stars Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher in key roles. It also marks the first-ever collaboration of Sonam with her uncle Sanjay Kapoor, who is playing her father in the film.
