Ranbir opens up on marriage life with Alia, says “She is my daal chawal and achaar accompanying it”

The newlywed star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the hot topic of tinsel-town right now. The duo got married in April this year, and ever since then, fans have been gushing over their match.

Albeit being married recently, both the actors returned to work as soon as possible. While Ranbir is busy promoting his two upcoming movies, Brahmastra and Shamshera, which will be released over the course of 45 days, Alia is in London filming for her debut Hollywood movie, “The Heart of Stone.”

The trailer of “Shamshera” dropped on Friday afternoon, and the actor, along with his co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, has been promoting the movie and attending press conferences. During one such press meet, Ranbir was asked about his relationship with Alia. To this the ‘Barfi’ actor responded by equating their union to food.

“I often repeat that Tangdi Kebabs, not Dal Chawal, are what we need in life, he continued. But I can now declare, from experience, that Dal Chawal is the best. She is the Dal Chawal and the Achaar accompanying it. She is everything, and there is no one else I would rather have as my spouse,” said Ranbir.

Sanjay Dutt, who plays a negative character in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Shamshera’, gave his thoughts on working with the actor. “It’s interesting to be pitied against RK, who portrayed me in the movie Sanju,” he added.

The animosity between him and RK will intrigue viewers, and they will be astounded to watch the actor with the “boyish charm” transform into a “rugged-looking man” who finds his feet and looks magnificent on screen.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Ranbir’s return to the big screen with Shamshera comes four years after the release of his 2018 movie Sanju.
