Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ inches closer to Rs 500 crore mark at Domestic Box Office

Within just 2 weeks of its release, Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal' has already crossed the Rs 450 crore mark at the domestic box office.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ has created a storm at the Indian box office. Just within a couple of week of its release, the film has already crossed the Rs 450 crore mark and still sees no slow down. As of today, ‘animal’ sits with a massive earning of Rs 476.84 crore at the domestic box office.

On December 14, the film successfully completed two weeks of theatrical run. On Thursday, the film reportedly minted close to Rs 8.75 crore in India with a 14.75 percent occupancy. Reports from reliable sources believe that the film will see a further rise in collection in the coming weekend. Over time, the film has seen a gradual decrease in numbers, but is expected to come strong during the weekend.

Apart from its numbers at the box office, the film has also gained much attention for the ‘toxic masculinity’ theme it follows. One of the main catch of the film was Bobby Deol’s character on screen. With only a 15 minute on-screen time and without any dialogues, Bobby Deol has managed to gain himself the title of ‘Lord Bobby’ by the audience.

On December 1, ‘Animal’ had its theatrical release, clashing with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur.’ Even though both the films have been loved by the audience, it is ‘Animal’ that is currently ruling the box office.

‘Animal’ is a thrilling drama revolving around the intense relationship shared by a father-son duo. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film features stars like Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna in significant roles. With a run time for 201 minutes, the film continues to capture the audience with its gripping narrative and performances.
