Karan Johar says ‘I am blessed’ on working with Dharmendra in RRKPK
Karan Johar mentioned that getting a chance to work with Dharmendra is nothing less than a lifetime blessing for him.
Mumbai (ANI): The entire team of ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahanii’ is elated at the success of the film. Following which, Karan Johar hosted a Press meet in Mumbai on August 3.
At the event, KJo wholeheartedly thanked the audience and cast of the movie. Karan Johar also showed his gratitude to Dharmendra for joining the cast and for gracing the premiere with his presence. He called Dharmendra, “The unmatchable charisma of the Bollywood industry.”
Karan Johar also mentioned that getting a chance to work with Dharmendra is nothing less than a lifetime blessing. As a gesture of respect, Karan also touched the veteran actor’s feet.
Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Garima Agarwal, Churni Ganguly, Sriti Jha, Parth Siddhpura, Ananya Panday were seen attending the event.
The film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahanii was released in theatres on July 28. The story is centered around the love life of Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chaterjee. Rocky comes from a wealthy Punjabi family while Rani hails from a Bengali family. Soon they realize that their families do not like each other. Rocky and Rani then decide to live with each other’s family, in order to impress them.
The film has an amazing star cast and Karan Johar’s skillful narrative. With scenes of love, romance, and family drama, this film is the perfect ensemble of a typical Bollywood film; making the audience feel connected.
