Sensex falls 400 points, Nifty trades in red at 21,636
At 10.00 am, the Sensex dropped 401.33 or 0.56 per cent at 71,870.61, while, the Nifty 50 crashed 105.85 points or 0.49 per cent while trading at 21,636.05.
New Delhi: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex are trading in negative territory on Tuesday. In the opening session, the benchmark BSE sensex opened at 72,105 with a fall of 166.48 points or 0.23 per cent. The NSE Nifty 50 was down 23.60 points or 0.11 per cent to open at 21,718.30 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, all the other sectors including Nifty Auto, Nifty Bank, Nifty IT, Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank are trading red.
The auto stocks have emerged as the top sectoral loser.
