Bhubaneswar: The evaluation process of Matric answer sheets has been completed and the results are scheduled to be out by May, informed Board of Secondary Education Chairperson Ramsish Hazra.
He added that the checking was completed without any hurdles and now the Board wants to ensure an error-free result declaration.
This year 5, 71, 699 candidates appeared from 2, 830 examination centres. Also appearing were 3009 Madhyama candidates from 44 centres and 12,012 Open School candidates from 79 centres.
The evaluation of Matric answer sheets had begun from March 25 and ended on April 6 and the results might get published by May. The Board had ordered a ban on mobile phones inside the evaluation centres. It also took other strict measures to ensure a trouble-free evaluation.
