ED raids Robert Vadra’s close aides: Lawyer

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday conducted raids at the premises of some close aides of Robert Vadra, brother-in-law of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, informed his lawyer Suman Jyoti Khaitan.

Probe teams are currently conducting searches at three locations in the national capital.

Khaitan alleged that Enforcement Directorate officials have raided three companies closely associated with his client, and locked it up in a dictatorial fashion.

“They have locked our people of Skylight hospitality inside, and they are not allowing anyone to go inside. Is this Nazism? Is this a jail?” ANI quoted Khaitan as saying.

Vadra, a businessman, is being investigated by the ED in connection with a land deal in Bikaner in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, ED sources said that they have evidence that the persons being raided had received money in their bank accounts from defence suppliers.
