Tata Play Reduces Price Of Channel Packs, See Details

Tata Play (formerly known as Tata Sky) is reducing its price for consumers as the service providers across industries are looking to increase their average revenue per user (ARPU).

The company is all set to reduce the cost of channel bouquets and packs for its users as an attempt to retain them in the over-the-top (OTT) content-dominated times.

Tata play is all set to reduce its channel packs by almost Rs 30 to Rs 100 for customers on a monthly basis.

Tata Play believes that it would be great if the price of channel bouquets went down. Tata Play boasts of as much as 19 million active subscribers right now.

The Managing Director of Tata Play said that more people are downsizing their plans today and the company will be dropping the price of  channel packs.

The change in pricing for the users will be done on the basis of usage history. This will help users in getting a good deal and help the company in generating revenue.
