Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a hotel owner and son brutually thrashed a man over a bill of Rs 5 at Ghasipura Bazaar of Anandapur in Keonjhar district.
The incident took place at Laxmi Bazar in Ghasipura when one Jitendra Dehuri had visited a hotel named “Maa” in the afternoon to have his lunch. The hotel owner asked him Rs 45 for the lunch meal. Jitendra had Rs 40 with him and asked the hotel owner to pay the remaining Rs 5 in the evening.
Later, an argument heated up between the owner of the hotel and Jitendra, following which the owner and his son mercilessly thrashed him over a bill of Rs 5 in the middle of the road.
Jitendra has lodged a complaint at the Ghasipura police station against the duo father and son. Police arrested the accused owner. The son has been absconding after his father arrest.
On the other hand, police is investigating into the matter.
