Bhadrak: A three-year-old boy died after accidentally falling into a pond in Lakshmidaspur village under Basudebpur block in the district on Friday.
The deceased child has been identified as Subham Jena, son of Rajendra Jena.
Subham who was playing near his home this morning suddenly went missing after few hours. After conducting a frantic search in and around the village, his family members found him floating unconscious in a pond located nearby.
While the child was rushed to Basudebpur Community Health Centre (CHC) doctors declared him brought dead later in the day.
