Canada: In a tragic incident, six people lost their lives after a small plane carrying workers crashed in Canada, said reliable reports in this regard. The aircraft crashed on Tuesday, reports confirmed.

Reportedly, the aircraft was carrying workers to a remote mine near Fort Smith in Canada. Reports tell us that the plane was enroute to the Diavik diamond mine. The plane lost contact with the air traffic control after take off. It was later found near the Slave River. It belonged to mining firm Rio Tinto.

A total of six people lost their lives in the plane crash in Canada. The reason behind the aircraft crashing is yet to be ascertained.

In an official statement, the CEO of Rio Tinto Jakob Stausholm shared that the company was devastated at the loss. Further details into the matter are awaited.
