World celebrates 6th Anniversary of ‘Art of Giving’ with much dedication

Bhubaneswar: The 6th Anniversary of the Art of Giving is being celebrated across the globe today with much dedication and devotion with people from all walks of life overwhelming contributing to the cause of lending a helping hand to the underprivileged and needy.

While the 5th Anniversary of the Art of Giving, which happens to be the brainchild of renowned educationist and founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr Achyuta Samanta, became a huge success last year with the theme ‘PyaarBhara Pack’ with the participation of 80 countries, the number has rose to 120 this year.

Around 20,000 centres have been set up for this unique celebration this year across these participating countries.

With this year’s theme ‘Bag of Happiness’ contributors are gifting stationery items like pen, pencil, eraser, color box, slate, cardboard or any other stationery items to children who cannot afford it.

However, the celebration is not limited to the underprivileged only, as a contributor can gift a book to an elderly person or parents. You may gift anything that aids to learning on this special day.

Notably, a trial #BagOfHappiness was organized in Bhubaneswar on 20 March 2018 on International Day of Happiness. It was a grand success.
