Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel prices have continued to increase for the seventh consecutive day in temple city Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. Today, the petrol price has been recorded at Rs 107.68 per litre while the diesel rate is recorded at Rs 97.47 per litre.
While on Tuesday, the petrol and diesel price was recorded at Rs 106.83 and Rs 96.62 per litre respectively. The petrol rate has risen by 85 paisa and diesel by 84 paisa in the last 24 hours.
The petrol and diesel rates in Cuttack have also increased and is recorded at Rs 107.87 and Rs 97.65 respectively.
Meanwhile, the fuel prices in major cities of India like Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai have been recorded at Rs 106.69, Rs 110.52, and Rs 115.88 respectively. The diesel price, on the other hand, is recorded at Rs 96.76 in Chennai, Rs 95.42 in Kolkata, and in Mumbai, the rates are at Rs 100.10.
The cost of petrol in the national capital, Delhi is recorded at Rs 101.01 per litre while the diesel is at Rs 92.27 per litre.
