7 feet long python rescued in Odisha’s Koraput: Watch

Koraput: A huge python has been rescued in the Koraput district of Odisha on Wednesday. The reptile was rescued from the OSAP Battalion 3 area.

As per reports, a few OSAP jawans had gone to check the work progress of a newly built building of ODRAF when they first spotted the huge python. After observation they estimated it to be about 7 feet long.

Without much delay the jawans alerted the Snake Helpline members about it who visited the spot and rescued the snake. Later the members handed over the python to the officials of the Forest Department who said that the python will be released into the jungle at a convenient place.

Earlier on last Sunday, an 11 feet long python had been rescued in Cuttack district of Odisha from the water of River Birupa in Choudwar area.
